From April 22nd to 25th, Dean Liu Cunliang of our institute led a delegation to visit Khalifa University and the Abu Dhabi Institute for Technological Innovation's Promotion and Space Research Center in the United Arab Emirates. They engaged in comprehensive and in-depth discussions on academic exchanges, talent training, and scientific research cooperation, further deepening our institute's international cooperation along the Belt and Road.



On April 23rd, a delegation from our institute was invited to visit the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Khalifa University. They were warmly received by experts such as Prof. Simon C. M. Yu, Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, and Prof. Sean Shan Min Swei, Director of the Space Technology and Innovation Laboratory. Both parties introduced the research situations and distinctive research directions of their respective units, and explored the possibilities of further strengthening scientific research cooperation, establishing joint laboratories, and promoting joint training of high-level talents.

On April 24th, Liu Cunliang and his delegation visited the Abu Dhabi Technology Innovation Research Institute's Center for Advancement and Space Research. They engaged in in-depth academic exchanges and discussions with over ten experts, including Dr. Elias Tsoutsanis, the Executive Director of the Center for Advancement and Space Research. They summarized the current progress of cooperation and looked forward to future development prospects. Liu Cunliang expressed his hope that both parties would regard each other as friends and partners, respect and support each other, create new development opportunities, seek new development impetus, expand new development space, and embark on a path of win-win cooperation.
The international cooperation and scientific research exchange activities led by Liu Cunliang in the UAE have further strengthened the exchange and cooperation between our college and universities and research institutions in the UAE, achieving good results. The college will continue to implement cooperation in scientific research, laboratory co-construction, high-level talent training, and cultural interaction and integration, enhancing friendship and promoting bilateral cooperation and exchanges to a new level.
