The 2021 Silk Road Aerospace International Industry University Research and Application Cooperation Seminar was held on October 29, 2021 at Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi'an, China. As one of the important sub forums of the "2021 Silk Road International Industry University Research and Application Cooperation Conference" held by the Ministry of Education, this conference attracted more than 200 representatives from universities, enterprises, and research institutes from 22 countries, including China, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, the UK, Singapore, and Pakistan, both online and offline. Multiple faculty members from the School of Power and Energy participated in the preliminary preparation and implementation stages of the seminar. Assist in inviting guests, distributing conference invitations, producing conference materials, and assisting in financial reimbursement to facilitate the orderly conduct of the seminar.

The seminar held its opening ceremony at the International Conference Center of Northwestern Polytechnical University. Cao Yan, a second level inspector from the Education Working Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Department of Education, and Zhang Yanning, an assistant to the President of Northwest Polytechnical University, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Representatives of multiple universities, enterprises, research institutes, as well as representatives of relevant colleges, functional departments, and part-time Chinese and foreign cooperative mentors attended. Dean Wang Zhanxue of the School of Power and Energy led 18 teachers to attend the meeting on-site.

At the opening ceremony, a ceremony was held for the appointment of part-time cooperative mentors from both China and foreign countries, and letters of appointment were issued to the master's and doctoral supervisors of Northwestern Polytechnical University and Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, who have been committed to promoting the cultivation of international industry, academia, and research talents. A total of 14 teachers from the School of Power and Energy have been hired as master's and doctoral supervisors.

The theme of this conference is "Innovative Cooperation and Mutual Development", further promoting cooperation and exchange among universities, research institutes, and enterprises.
