"The Lingyun Class" is a joint undergraduate "2+2" double degree program in aircraft power engineering initiated by Northwestern Polytechnical University in collaboration with Kazan National Research Technical University and Samara National Research University. The program aims to cultivate high-quality talents who can comprehensively, systematically, and thoroughly study and master the design, manufacturing, and testing of advanced aircraft engines, while possessing an international perspective and cross-cultural communication skills. During the first two years, students in the Lingyun Class study fundamental knowledge and Russian at Northwestern Polytechnical University, and then proceed to Kazan National Research Technical University or Samara National Research University for specialized courses in the following two years.
