Organized by the School of Power and Energy Northwestern Polytechnical Univeristy (NPU) and the Polytechnical University of Madrid (UPM), the 2018 NPU-ETSII Workshop with a theme on “Towards Joing Activites in Power and Energy Technology Development”, was successfuly held in Madrid Spain, 16-20th June 2018.
The on-going workshop this year was dedicated to exchange the state-of-the-art research, education program and potential cooperation between NPU and UPM in the field of Power and Energy.
Twenty-four young researchers from both sides presented and highlighted their current research activities with respect to the key themes, trends and technologies. The acedemic talks broadened the participants’ new horizon and imrpoved the academic communications and the developement of the collaboration between NPU and UPM. As mentioned by Prof. Wang Zhanxue, Dean of School of Power and Energy in NPU, this bilateral academic workshop reached an agreement to make joint effort to open a new era in the NPU-UPM partnership on education, academic exchange and technique innovation.
